I am originally from Germany, and german is my first language. My mom and I moved to the states when I was about 7, but she still sent me back to Germany to stay with my Oma all 3 months of summer vacation. So, Germany was, and remains my home away from home. (And yes, this is also why I have no accent in either language)

I got a BFA in Musical Theater from Catawba College, which is loacted in Salisbury, NC, the home of Cheerwine (If you know, you know)

In 2014 I started my own gourmet peanut butter cup business called, Jessie's Nutty Cups. We were based in Brooklyn, NY and in business for 9 years. We were unfortunately forced to close due to financial hardship, but we had a pretty great run and I'm damn proud of what I was able to achieve. That being said, I don't think I ever want to be a food business owner ever again... well... at least not right now. Never say never, right? I love to travel, love to read, love to walk and love doing these 3 things most with my beautiful family. Oh, and I LOVE to dance... ballroom, salsa, jazz... but the type of dance that has the biggest space in my heart is Israeli Folk Dance.
